96-fame Premkumar to direct Karthi's next
The film has music by Govind Vasantha and cinematography by PC Sreeram
Director-cinematographer Premkumar, who rose to fame for helming the romantic drama 96, starring Vijay Sethupathi and Trisha will be directing Karthi's next.
The news was confirmed by the film's cinematographer PC Sreeram on his Twitter handle. The yet-to-be-titled project has Arvind Swami playing the other male lead and is produced by Suriya and Jyotika's 2D Entertainment.
The film, which has music by Govind Vasantha, is expected to be announced soon along with the rest of the cast by the makers. Meanwhile, Karthi, who has finished shooting for Raju Murugan's Japan, is awaiting the film's release. He was also said to have joined hands with Nalan Kumarasamy, but there is no official word on the status of the project.
