Actor Shanmuga Pandian's next goes on floors

Actor Shanmuga Pandian's next goes on floors

On Sunday, the makers of Shanmuga Pandian's next film, tentatively titled Production 1, announced that the film has commenced filming with a pooja ceremony. The pooja was attended by Premalatha Vijaykanth, Shanmuga's mother. 

Produced by Directors Cinemas, the film is helmed by U Anbu. The film is set entirely in forest areas. The film has a screenplay from Natpe Thunai director Parthiban Desinghu and will revolve around the lives of wild elephants and the people who have their habitats near the dwellings of wild elephants.  

The first schedule of shoot for the film has already begun in the forests of Kerala. The makers are also planning to shoot a schedule in the forests of Orissa and Thailand. MS Bhaskar, Kasthuri Raja and Yamini Chander will be seen in prominent roles in this film. 

Helmed by U Anbu of Walter and Rekla fame, the film will have cinematography by S R Sathishkumar and editing by Ilayaraja. The makers are yet to announce the rest of the cast and crew of the film.
