A promo and glimpse of the second single from Jailer, Hukum, was released by the makers on social media on Saturday. Starring Rajinikanth in the lead role, Jailer's album is scored by Anirudh Ravichander. The lyrics for Hukum are written by Super Subu. The full song will be out on Monday.

The glimpse shows Rajinikanth bringing a command with his voice, as he makes sure to convey that he is the one who makes rules, which has to be followed by others. He is shown to be holding a gun, as walks briskly.

The film marks Nelson's fourth directorial and maiden collaboration with Rajinikanth. The film is bankrolled by Sun Pictures banner with Vijay Kartik Kannan as the cinematographer and Nirmal as the editor.

Jailer will boast an ensemble star cast across industries, including Mohanlal, Sunil, Jackie Shroff, and Shivrajkumar. Besides this, the film will also feature Vasanth Ravi, Yogi Babu, Ramya Krishnan, and Vinayakan, among others. Rajini plays a character named Muthuvel Pandian.
