Rajakili passes censor formalities

On Tuesday, the makers of Rajakili announced that the film has passed censorship formalities with a U/A certificate. Rajakili, which marks the directorial debut of actor Umapathy Ramaiah stars Thambi Ramaiah and Samuthirakani in lead roles.

Previously, the makers released the teaser of Rajakili. The teaser shows Samuthirakani caught in between a murder investigation of a middle-aged man Murugappa, played by Thambi Ramaiah. Thambi Ramaiah's character is then established as a womanizer. The teaser then dives deeper into the character and the investigation. 

Rajakili is the latest film that marks the collaboration between Samuthirakani and Thambi Ramaiah, who earlier worked in films like SattaiAdutha SaataiAppa and Vinodhaya Sitham.

The film also features Thambi Ramaiah as a music composer. Interestingly, the latter has also written the story, screenplay and dialogues.

Rajakili also stars Suveta Shrimpton, Miyashree Sowmya, MS Bhaskar, Pazha Karuppaiah, Ilavarasu, Aadukalam Naren, Krish, and Praveen G, among others. The film is produced by Suresh Kamatchi's V House Productions, which rose to fame for producing Silambarasan TR's Maanaadu.
