Alphonse Puthren's next is titled Gift 

Filmmaker Alphonse Puthren's next directorial venture is titled Gift. Alphonse revealed the film's title on Tuesday through his social media handles. 

Gift has a script penned by Alphonse, and he also serves as the editor of the film. The film has music composed by Ilaiyaraaja. The film comprises seven songs; the musician will also pen the lyrics. 

Gift stars an ensemble cast including Sandy, Kovai Sarala, Sahana Sarvesh, Magalakshmi Sudarshan, Sampath Raj, Raahul, Charlie, Raichal Rabecca, Crawford, Gopalan Palakkad and Cycle Mani.

Produced by Raahul, the film has Aviral Jha behind the camera.

Alphonse Puthren's last outing was the Malayalam film Gold, starring Prithviraj Sukumaran and Nayanthara, following the much-acclaimed Neram and Premam. The upcoming film will mark Alphonse's fourth directorial venture.
