It's a wrap for Jigarthanda Double X
The film will release for Diwali this year
The shooting of Jigarthanda Double X, the upcoming sequel of the 2014 Tamil film Jigarthanda, has been wrapped up, the makers of the film announced on social media on Monday. The film is slated for a theatrical release for Diwali this year.
Directed by filmmaker Karthik Subbaraj, who also helmed the 2014 critically acclaimed film, Jigarthanda Double X will feature SJ Suryah and Raghava Lawrence in the lead roles. The film is mark the first time collaboration of the actors.
Jigarthanda Double X's technical crew includes music composer Santhosh Narayanan, cinematographer S S Thirunavukarasu, who collaborated with Karthik Subbaraj in Mercury and Petta, and editor Shafique Mohamed Ali. The film is backed by Kaarthekeyen Santhanam and Kathiresan under the Stone Bench Films & Five Star Creations banners.
