Lokesh Kanakaraj: More than happy to join hands with Vijay anna

Following the much-anticipated update about Vijay's Thalapathy 67, filmmaker Lokesh Kanagaraj took to his Twitter handle to express his happiness about collaborating with the actor for the second time.

Sharing a photo featuring both of them fist-bumping with a Kada, the filmmaker wrote, "Good evening guys! More than happy to join hands with Vijay na once again." (sic)

The duo earlier collaborated for Master in 2021. Meanwhile, their upcoming film is backed by SS Lalit Kumar and Jagdish Palanisamy under the Seven Screen Studios. Billed as an action entertainer, the makers noted that the film's production commenced on January 2.

The technical crew includes cinematographer Manoj Paramahamsa, music composer Anirudh Ravichander, stunt choreographer Anbariv, editor Philomin Raj, art director N Satees Kumar and dance choreographer Dinesh.

Lokesh with Rathna Kumar and Deeraj Vaidy, who directed the 2016 film Jil Jung Juk, penned the dialogues for Thalapathy 67.

With actor-filmmakers Gautham Vasudev Menon and Mysskin already confirming their presence in Thalapathy 67 and speculations are rife that Trisha will also be part of the project. Further details of the cast and crew will be announced later.
