GV Prakash Kumar shares update on Thangalaan

We had earlier reported that director Pa Ranjith is working with actor Vikram in the upcoming film Thangalaan. As the shooting is going at a brisk pace, the music composer of the film, GV Prakash Kumar took to social media to share an update about the film.

The composer revealed that the team has finished recording two songs. Prakash Kumar wrote, "Super excited about the way #thangalaan audio is coming. Finished Recording two songs. Come out with an international tribal mix of audio which is unique for me I haven’t tried it before .Super excited.”

Thangalaan marks the first time Prakash Kumar is collaborating with Ranjith. Besides Vikram, the film also features Parvathy Thiruvothu, Pasupathy, Malavika Mohanan, and Hari Krishnan in pivotal roles. Thangalaan is expected to showcase the story of the origins of the Kolar Gold Field of Karnataka.

Tamil Prabha is the co-writer of the film while Selva RK and SS Murthi will be handling the editing and art departments, respectively. A co-production between Studio Green and Neelam Productions, the film also will release in Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada, and Hindi.
