Dhanush's 50th film to be produced by Sun Pictures 

Actor Dhanush's 50th film has been announced to be produced by Sun Pictures. The reveal was made through the production house's Twitter handle along with a poster that shows a massive smoke breaking out in the backdrop of a slum. 

It was widely speculated recently that Dhanush will be returning to direction with this film and it will likely star SJ Suryah, Kalidas Jayaram, Dushara Vijayan and Vishnu Vishal in the lead, alongside Dhanush himself. 

Sun Pictures haven't disclosed any other information about the cast and crew of the film at the moment. But they have promised to give updates regarding that soon. It may be noted that the production house recently bankrolled the actor's Thiruchitrambalam. 

Dhanush is currently awaiting the release of his Tamil-Telugu bilingual Vaathi/Sir. He is also shooting for Arun Matheswaran's period action drama Captain Miller, alongside Priyanka Mohan, Sundeep Kishan, Shivarajkumar and Nivedhithaa Sathish. The actor is expected to start shooting for his 50th film after wrapping the Arun directorial.
