Dada, starring Aparna Das and Kavin, has been making waves among the audience since the release of the film. Actor Dhanush, who recently caught the film, appreciated the duo's performances through phone calls. Earlier, Kavin shared the excitement on social media, and Aparna too followed suit now.

Aparna penned a note that read, "Still can't believe that voice I heard from the other side of the phone. Hi Aparna, Dhanush here. He said he loved the film and my performance, and I am a huge fan. Coming this from him, what else can I say? Thank you so much, Sir. I look up to you and that heart of yours to appreciate young upcoming artists like us. God bless you, Sir.

Dada is helmed by Ganesh K Babu. It revolves around a couple whose lives turn upside down after an unplanned pregnancy and the man's journey from being a student to becoming a single father.

Meanwhile, Dhanush's Vaathi is also running in theatres. The actor plays the role of a junior teacher on a mission to save the corrupted education system.
