The shooting of Thangalaan, the upcoming film starring Vikram, Parvathy Thiruvothu, Malavika Mohanan, is currently happening at a brisk pace. The makers, on Tuesday, took to social media to reveal actor Daniel Caltagirone’s look from the film, who joined the sets recently.
The English actor is known for his roles in The Beach, Lara Croft Tomb Raider: The Cradle of Life, The Pianist, is seen wearing a huntsman costume with a scythe in his hand.
Thangalaan is expected to showcase the story of the origins of the Kolar Gold Field of Karnataka. Helmed by Pa Ranjith, it is backed by Studio Green and Neelam Productions. GV Prakash is scoring the music of the film, marking his first collaboration with the filmmaker.
Tamil Prabha is the co-writer of the film while Selva RK and SS Murthi will be handling the editing and art departments, respectively. The film also will release in Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada, and Hindi.
A release date for Thangalaan is yet to be fixed.
