Character posters from Aishwarya Rajesh's Soppana Sundari out 

We had earlier reported that Aishwarya Rajesh's Soppana Sundari is heading for a March release. While the release date of the film is yet to be announced, the makers have released the character posters on social media on Monday.

Firstly, Aishwarya plays the role of Agalya or as the team describes her as “heart and soul” of the film. The actor’s character is built to be unpredictable but one with small aspirations, including seeing her sister happily married and overcome her financial struggles.  Actor Lakshmi Priyaa Chandramouli plays mute girl Thenmozhi who is kind, family –oriented, and soft by nature. While Karunakaran plays Durai, a selfish and opportunistic brother of Agalya, Deepa Shankar essays the role of hilarious and innocent Selvi Amma. Sunil Reddy will be seen as Inspector Kannan who is authoritative known for his corrupt and misogynistic character.

Soppana Sundari is helmed by SG Charles and will be a dark comedy. Others part of the cast, include Redin Kinglsey, Mime Gopi, among others. Ajmal and Vishal Chandrasekar have both worked on the music for the film while the cinematography is handled by Bala Murugan and Vignesh Rajagopalan.
