Bharathiraja's next titled Vidhai 

Director-actor Bharathiraja, who was recently seen in a cameo in Vaathi, will be playing the lead in an upcoming film called Vidhai. The first look of the film was released by Vijay Sethupathi on Twitter. The poster features a vest-clad Bharathiraja in the backdrop of windmills. 

The film which is expected to be a social drama highlighting the plights of farmers is directed by Selvadurai Thangapandian. Vidhai has cinematography by Bheemji and editing by Lawrence Kishore. 

The film is expected to hit the screens in mid-2023.
