Dhanush's Vaathi trailer to drop on this date

Dhanush's upcoming film Vaathi, directed by Venky Atluri, is scheduled to release on February 17. Ahead of the release, the makers announced that the much-awaited trailer of the film will drop on Wednesday. 

The film, set in the 90s, has Dhanush playing a junior school teacher named Balamurgan. The film also features Samyuktha Menon as the female lead, Sai Kumar, Tanikella Bharani, Samuthirakani, Thotapalli Madhu, Aadukalam Naren, and Ilavarasu. The story centres around the education system. The film's technical crew includes cinematographer J Yuvraj, and editor Navin Nooli and the music is composed by GV Prakash Kumar. It may be noted that the makers already released a couple of songs titled Vaa Vaathi and Naadodi Mannan, respectively. The Telugu version is titled Sir.
