Trailer of Atharvaa, Manikandan -starrer Mathagam is here 

The series will start streaming on Disney+Hotstar on  August 18

On Saturday, Disney+Hotstar dropped the trailer of the upcoming Tamil series Mathagam starring Atharvaa and Manikandan in the lead roles. The series will start premiere on the streamer on  August 18. 

The trailer hints that the series will chronicle a showdown between law enforcement and a small group of notorious criminals. Atharva essays the role of a police inspector, while Manikandan can be seen as the bad guy. The trailer also features glimpses of Nikhila Vimal and Dhivyadharshini and hinting as the romantic interest of Arthava's character and Manikandan's, respectively. Gautham Vasudev Menon can also be seen in a severe avatar on the posse side. It was earlier revealed that Mathagam covers a series of events that happen over a period of 30 hours.

The series is directed by Prasath Murugesan of Kidaari and Queen fame. Mathagam is produced by Screen Scene Media Entertainment.

Mathagam has music by Darbuka Siva, cinematography by Edwin Sakay and editing by Praveen Antony. The additional cast members include Dilnaz Irani, Ilavarasu, Vadivukarasi, Aruvi Thirunavukkarasu, Munnar Ramesh, Sarath Ravi, Rishikanth and Murali Abbas.
