Sathish's next titled Vithaikkaran
The film marks the directorial debut of Venki
On Wednesday, the makers of Sathish's next released the motion poster of the film. Titled Vithaikkaran, the film is helmed by Venki. The film marks the directorial debut for Venki, who has previously worked as Lokesh Kanagaraj's associate director on films like Master and Vikram.
The motion poster showed a number of characters as chess pieces, finally revealing Sathish's character as the king on the chessboard. The camera then pans out to show Sathish himself moving the chess pieces.
Along with Sathish, Vithaikkaran also stars, Simran Gupta, Anandraj, Madhusudhan, Subramaniam Siva, John Vijay, Pavel Navageethan, and Japan Kumar, among others. The film is bankrolled by Vijay Pandi of White Carpet Films.
With music by VBR, Vithaikkaran has cinematography by Yuva Karthick and editing by Arul E Siddharth. While the makers are yet to disclose more details about the film's plot, Sathish, in a previous conversation with us, revealed that Vithaikkaran will be a black comedy.
