Sivakarthikeyan's Maaveeran gets release date
The film is directed by Madonne Ashwin
Maaveeran, the upcoming film starring actor Sivakarthikeyan in the lead role, is set to release in theatres on August 11, the makers announced on social media on Saturday.
The film will release in Telugu as Mahaveerudu. The makers revealed the release date by releasing a video showing the making of the film. Directed by Madonne Ashwin, the film also stars Aditi Shankar as the female lead, along with an ensemble star cast including Mysskin, Saritha, Yogi Babu, and Sunil, among others.
Maaveeran marks Madonne’s sophomore directorial after the award-winning film Mandela. The film is backed by Shanthi Talkies. The film’s technical crew includes cinematographer Vidhu Ayyanna, music composer Bharath Shankar and editor Philomin Raj.
