The film will be released in theatres on April 28
Shivoham, the third single from the much-awaited sequel to the Ponniyin Selvan Part-1, was released by the makers on Wednesday. Composed by A R Rahman, the song is based on Nirvana Shatakam by Adi Shankara. A group of singers, including, Sathyaprakash, Dr Narayanan, Sreekanth Hariharan, Nivas, Aravind Srinivas, Shenbagaraj, and TS Ayyappan, has lent their voices to the song.

Directed by Mani Ratnam, Ponniyin Selvan is adapted from Kalki’s novel of the same name. The film’s first part was released in September last year, followed by the second part to hit the theatres on April 28. The film features an ensemble star cast including Jayam Ravi, Vikram, Aishwarya Rai, Trisha, Prakash Raj, Rahman, Jayaram, and Karthi, among others.
Penned by Mani Ratnam, along with Jeyamohan and Kumaravel, the film is backed by Lyca Productions and Madras Talkies.
Ponniyin Selvan's technical team comprises Ravi Varmen as the cinematographer, while Sreekar Prasad handles the editing.
