Raavana Kottam trailer is here 

The trailer of the upcoming Tamil film Raavana Kottam starring actor Shanthnu Bhagyaraj in the lead role, was released by the makers on social media on Wednesday.

Set against a village backdrop, the trailer hints at speaking about the issue surrounding the Seema Karuvela Maram, a type of invasive plant species. Apart from this, the trailer also hints a romance track, rural drama and politics, and plenty of action.

Billed as a rural drama, Raavana Kottam is written and directed by Vikram Sugumaran, who is best known for making the 2013 film Madha Yaanai Koottam. The music for Raavana Kottam has been composed by Justin Prabhakaran.

Apart from Shanthnu and Anandhi, the cast of the film also includes Prabhu, Ilavarasu, PL Thenappan, Deepa Shankar, and Aruldoss. Vetrivel Mahendran has taken care of the cinematography while the editing is done by Lawrence Kishore. Raavana Kottam is produced by Kannan Ravi.

Raavana Kottam is set to hit theatres on May 12.
