First look poster of Aranam out
The film marks the lyricist Piriyan's debut as both a director and actor
The first look poster of lyricist Piriyan's debut directorial and starrer, Aranam, was unveiled by the makers on Tuesday. Produced by Thamizh Thiraikkoodam, the film is billed to be a horror entertainer.

While the plot of Aranam is still kept under wraps, we know that the film's production work is in the final stages. The makers are yet to announce the rest of the cast details. While Saajan Madhav is composing music for Aranam, Nithin K Raj and EJ Nausath are handling the cinematography. Editing will be handled by PH.
Meanwhile, Piriyan has written lyrics for more than 500 Tamil songs. His most recent works include Neelatho Inum Neelatho from Kalaga Thalaivan, Kannil Eeram from Sinam, the titular song from Kadaram Kondan, and Anbin Vazhiyadhu from Nenjamundu Nermaiyundu Odu Raja, among others.
