Shah Rukh Khan, Vijay attend Atlee's birthday party

Blockbuster director Atlee celebrated his 36th birthday in Chennai on Wednesday. On the occasion, it was pouring wishes from fans and celebrities alike on social media. However, Atlee's biggest wish of them seemingly came true late Wednesday night.

Atlee, known for directing Vijay in films like Theri, Mersal and Bigil, is currently helming Shah Rukh Khan's Jawan. The filmmaker took to social media to share an iconic picture from his birthday that sees him flanked on either side by the two superstars. He captioned the photo, "What more can I ask on my bday. The best bday ever with my pillars. My dear Shah Rukh Khan sir and ennoda annae ennoda Thalapathy Vijay."

Within minutes of sharing this photo, the tweet went viral because it was a long-awaited meeting of Vijay and Shah Rukh Khan, who were said to be shooting in close proximity for Varisu and Jawan, respectively. 

Apart from Vijay and Shah Rukh Khan, the party also saw the likes of Keerthy Suresh and Kathir in attendance.
