Rio Raj's next goes on floors

Lokesh Kanagaraj has graced the poojai ceremony as the main guest

The filming of Rio Raj's next project as the lead began on Sunday in Chennai.

The filming commenced with a formal poojai ceremony that was graced by Vikram filmmaker Lokesh Kanagaraj, who clapped for the first shot. The film will be presented by Dr DArulanandhu through Vision Cinema House. 

The yet-to-be-titled film stars Bhavya Trikha and Elango Kumaran in supporting roles. Sharing the pictures from the event, Rio Raj wrote on his social media profiles, "A movie from our heart and soul! So happy to start this project with this amazing team of friends. Thank you so much Arul Anandh sir for believing in us and thank you Lokesh Kanagaraj brother for this amazing, positive start! Your presence itself has given us extra confidence."

"Thank you all who always stand by me. We will all give out heart and soul to this movie and make it as entertaining as possible," he added.

Directed by Hari, the film will have cinematography by Rahul KG Vignesh and music by Siddhu Kumar.
