Videos of Rajinikanth from the sets of Jailer in Cuddalore have been going rounds on social media for the last few days. Recently, the actor was spotted in Cuddalore where the filming for his upcoming film Jailer is underway. The reports also suggested that Yogi Babu was also in the sets. One of the videos showed Rajini walking out of the caravan and surrounded by fans. In another video, the makers are seen filming a shot where Rajini is seen walking on a bridge.

Directed by Nelson Dilipkumar, the film is produced by Kalanithi Maran under the Sun Pictures banner, which earlier backed Annaatthe. Set in the background of jail, Rajini plays the titular character in Jailer. The film has music by Anirudh Ravichander and will mark the third collaboration between Anirudh and Rajini after Petta and Darbar. Actors Ramya Krishnan, Yogi Babu, Vinayakan and Vasanth Ravi are also part of the film.
