Karthi-PS Mithran's Sardar passes through the censors

Karthi-PS Mithran's upcoming film, Sardar, is set to hit the screens this Deepavali. Mithran took to his social media accounts to announce that his third film is certified U/A. 

The trailer of the film is expected to be out on Friday, and the film will release in theatres on October 21. Sardar will clash with Sivakarthikeyan's Prince at the box-office. 

Sardar features Karthi in dual roles, and also stars Raashii Khanna, Rajisha Vijayan, Chunky Panday, Laila, among others.

The Telugu version of Sardar will be presented by Annapurna Studios. Backed by Prince Pictures, Sardar marks Karthi's third film with GV Prakash after Aayirathil Oruvan and Saguni. Mithran's frequent collaborator George C Williams is in charge of Sardar's cinematography.
