Ponniyin Selvan-1 OST to be out only after second part's release, reveals AR Rahman's daughter Khatija

The Mani Ratnam directorial has grossed over Rs 300 crores at the box office

Mani Ratnam's Ponniyin Selvan - 1  continues to do extraordinary business at the box office. Accroding to the makers, the film has already grossed over Rs 300 crores. The film, which is an adaptation of Kalki's novel, stars Karthi, Jayam Ravi, Vikram, Trisha, Aishwarya Rai, Aishwarya Lekshmi, Jayaram, Prakash Raj, and Sarath Kumar in main roles.

AR Rahman has composed the music. His work in the film has garnered widespread appreciation, with many in social media demanding the release of the original sound track (OST).

In what comes as a big disappointment for PS-1 music lovers, AR Rahman's daughter Khatija Rahman has revealed that the OST will be out only after the release of PS-2. Revealing it with a tweet, she also assured that the wait for the OST will be worth it.
