Karthi croons Sardar first single, Yeru Mayileri

Karthi's Sardar is getting ready for Deepavali release later this month. The film directed by PS Mithran has music by GV Prakash. Karthi has sung a folk song titled Yeru Mayileri in it. Yugabharathi has penned the lyrics.

This is the second time Karthi has sung for GV Prakash after the track 'Kandha Kaara Vadai' in Saguni (2012). The actor has also sung in films like Biriyani, Party, and the recently released Kanam.

Sardar, billed as a spy action-thriller, stars Karthi in a double role. Raashii Khanna and Rahisha Vijayan are the female leads in the film. It also stars Laila, Yugi Sethu, Murali Sharma, and Munishkanth in pivotal roles. 

Backed by Prince Pictures, the film has George C Williams as the cinematographer and Anthony Ruben as the editor.
