Actor RK Suresh's next film has been titled Kolavi. The film is produced by C Murugan Annai and K Sethilkumar's Village Studios and directed by VS Selvadurai.
Kolavi has Ameera Varma, who acted opposite Sasikumar in Ayodhi, playing the female lead. The film also stars Anant Nag, Ganja Karuppu, Singampuli and Appu Kutti in important roles.
Speaking about the film Selvadurai says, "The film is based on a real-life incident and we are trying to register the life of people living in that region as real as possible. I also aim to touch upon topics like the differences in familial structures and the vital role of women in building families."
The film has cinematography by Marina-fame Vijayan Munuswamy, editing by Mu Kasi Viswanathan and music by NR Raghunathan.
Kolavi will be shot in and around Chennai and Tirunelveli.
