The makers have revealed that the upcoming Kamal Haasan-starrer Vikram has been certified U/A by CBFC. Cinephiles expected the film to receive a Adults-only rating considering the action-heavy nature of the story.

Lokesh too shared in an interview last year that Vikram will be a tale of guns and blood. The trailer that was released recently also corroborated the fact that Vikram will be heavy on action and body count.

The update about the CBFC rating was shared with a new poster featuring Kamal Haasan in an intoxicated state, reminding the viewers of Lokesh Kanagaraj's previous directorial venture, Master, in which Vijay played the protagonist who suffers from alcohol addiction.

Here's the poster:

The film also stars Fahadh Faasil, Vijay Sethupathi, and Naren, among others in prominent roles. With music by Anirudh Ravichander and cinematography by Girish Gangadharan, Vikram is produced by Raaj Kamal Films International and is set to have a grand release on June 3.
