Dhoni Entertainment clarifies on their debut project reported to star Nayanthara

Nayanthara is reportedly a part of MS Dhoni's maiden Tamil production

After reports of MS Dhoni venturing into film production arose on Thursday, the official Instagram handle of the cricketer's production house refuted claims. 

In the post, they wrote, "Dhoni entertainment is currently not working with anyone named Sanjay. We deny such hiring of any person and we request everyone to be cautioned of these fraud claims. However our team is currently working on various exciting projects that we will be shortly sharing with you all. Stay tuned and watch this space for more!"

A report in IANS quoted sources who said that Sanjay has given the tip-off to Dhoni that roping in Nayanthara for his debut movie will augur well for him in the Tamil film industry. The possibility of Dhoni playing a cameo role in the movie is also not ruled out.

On the work front, actor Nayanthara has projects coming up in multiple languages. Last seen in Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kaadhal, the actor has O2 directed by debutant S Viknesh and Ashwin Saravanan's Connect lined up in Tamil. In Malayalam, she has the Alphonse Puthren directorial Gold, while in Telugu she will be starring alongside Chiranjeevi in Godfather. She is also reportedly making her Hindi debut with Shah Rukh Khan's upcoming film directed by Atlee.
