The makers of Kamal Haasan's Vikram had earlier announced that the film's audio and trailer launch event will take place on May 13. Meanwhile, the first single will be out on May 11. The veteran himself has sung and written lyrics for the song, which is titled Pathala Pathala. Anirudh Ravichander is composing the music, which is his first for a Kamal-starrer.

Last day, the excited composer took to Twitter to thank Kamal and share photos taken with him and the film's director Lokesh Kanagaraj during the recording session.

Vikram, co-written by Lokesh Kanagaraj and Rathna Kumar, also stars Vijay Sethupathi and Fahadh Faasil in prominent roles. Narain, Kalidas Jayaram, Shivani Narayanan, Hareesh Peradi, and Gayathrie Shankar are also part of the cast.

The film, billed as a big-scale actioner, has cinematography by Girish Gangadharan and stunt choreography by Anbariv.

Kamal's own production house Raaj Kamal International is producing the film, which is slated for theatrical release on June 3.
