Shoot for Ajith's next, tentatively titled AK 61, is currently progressing in Hyderabad. Directed by H Vinoth, the film is billed as a heist thriller.

The latest buzz is that Malayalam actress Manju Warrier has been roped in for the film. This will be her second outing in Tamil after her debut with the Dhanush-Vetrimaaran film, Asuran.

AK 61 marks Ajith's reunion with H Vinoth after Nerkonda Paarvai and Valimai.  Boney Kapoor, who produced the actor-director duo's previous two films, is backing this one as well. Nirav Shah is the cinematographer and it is speculated that Ghibran will be composing the music.

Meanwhile, Manju Warrier has a handful of projects coming up in Malayalam. Her next release will be the Santosh Sivan directorial Jack N' Jill, scheduled to hit screens on May 20.

She also has Meri Awas Suno, Vellaripattanam, Ayisha, Padavettu and her Hindi debut Amriki Pandit lined up.
