It was previously announced that Suriya will be teaming up with filmmaker Siva for an upcoming project. Speculations have now emerged that Anirudh Ravichander has been roped in to score music for the film. However, Anirudh's involvement in the project is yet to be officially announced by the makers.

If reports are proven true, the film will mark the third collaboration between Siva and Anirudh after Vedhalam (2015) and Vivegam (2017), both starring Ajith Kumar in the lead role. Likewise, Anirudh had previously composed the soundtrack of Suriya's 2018 film, Thaanaa Serndha Koottam. More recently, Anirudh sang the opening number of Suriya's latest release, Etharkkum Thunindhavan, titled 'Vaa Da Thambi'.

On the music front, Anirudh has a slew of high-profile titles, including the long-awaited Indian 2, Don, Beast, Vikram, Thiruchitrambalam, Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kaadhal, and Thalaivar 169 coming up. Suriya, on the other hand, has a film with Bala and Vetri Maaran's Vaadi Vaasal in his slate.
