Shooting of CS Amudhan-Vijay Antony's Ratham wrapped up

We had earlier reported that the filming of CS Amudhan's upcoming film, Ratham, frontlined by Vijay Antony, was moving at a brisk pace. The latest update from the team is that the filming of the project has come to a close. 

Sharing a picture from the shooting, Amudhan wrote, "Ratham shooting is done. Very happy to bring it to a close with my buddy Kalyan. A war is coming, rest assured we have the ablest commander in Vijay Antony. Prepare to be shocked." 

Ratham is a distinct change of path for Amudhan, who is known for his comic films like Thamizh Padam and Thamizh Padam 2. 

Billed to be an entertainer that will appeal to audiences from all walks of life, Ratham stars Mahima Nambiar, Nanditha Swetha, and Ramya Nambeesan. The film boasts of an ensemble that includes actors like Nizhalgal Ravi, John Mahendran, Kalairani, Mahesh, Jagan, OAK Sundar, Meesha Ghoshal and Ameya. 

With Kannan taking care of the music, Ratham has cinematography, editing and stunt choreography by Gopi Amarnath, TS Suresh, and Dhilip Subbarayan, respectively. 

Ratham is bankrolled by Kamal Bohra, Lalitha Dhananjayan, B. Pradeep & Pankaj Bohra of Infiniti Film Ventures.

Meanwhile, Vijay Antony has a bevy of films such as Agni Siragugal, Mazhai Pidikkaadha Manidhan, Pichaikkaran 2, Thamezharasan, Khaki, and Kolai in various stages of production.
