Agilan teaser out: Jayam Ravi plays the 'King of the Indian ocean' in this actioner

The one-minute forty-second-long teaser has the Bhooloham actor playing an angry man involved in illegal business around the harbour.

The teaser of Jayam Ravi's 28th film Agilan is out. The one-minute forty-second-long teaser sees the Comali actor play an angry man involved in illegal business around the harbour. 

'Harbour' Agilan, as he is called by a man in the teaser, is described as the 'illegal king' in the city. In a scene, he is also interrogated by Priya Bhavani Shankar, who is expected to play a cop in the film. Agilan is a high-octane action film shot extensively in the Indian Ocean.    

Sharing the teaser of the film, Jayam Ravi said, "Experience me as an arrogant 'King of the Indian ocean' in Agilan teaser here."

Apart from Priya Bhavani Shankar, Tanya Ravichandran is also playing an important role in this film. The other actors who are part of the cast are Chirag Jani, Hareesh Peradi, Harish Uthaman, Tarun Arora, and Madhusudhan Rao.

The film is written and directed by N Kalyana Krishnan. The music is scored by Sam CS, is produced by Screen Scene Media Entertainment. The film is set to be released on September 15. 

Jayam Ravi was last seen in the 2021 movie Bhoomi directed by Lakshman. He will be playing Arulmozhivarman in the upcoming epic period drama film Ponniyin Selvan I (PS-I) directed and co-produced by Mani Ratnam.
