Thiruchitrambalam update: Character introductions incoming

Sun Pictures, the production house bankrolling Dhanush's Thiruchitrambalam, has announced that characters from the film will be introduced beginning tomorrow. The development was made on their social media profiles while sharing a poster featuring Dhanush in a room, looking up towards a wall poster of Ilaiyaraaja.

The film features Nithya Menen, Priya Bhavani Shankar and Raashii Khanna as female leads while Prakash Raj and Bharathiraja will be seen in prominent roles. Mithran Jawahar, who directed Dhanush in Yaaradi Nee Mohini, Kutty and Uthamaputhiran is directing the film.

The film has music by music by Anirudh Ravichander and cinematography by Om Prakash. Although the makers are yet to announce the release date, speculations are rife that the film will hit screens in late July.
