Udhayanidhi Stalin to star in Kamal Haasan's production

On Monday, Udhayanidhi Stalin's Red Giant Movies organised an event in Chennai to celebrate their 15 years in cinema. While speaking at the event, Kamal Haasan announced that Udhayanidhi will play the lead in Raaj Kamal Films International's 54th production ventureHowever, other details regarding the project including the director's name were not revealed.

Earlier in the day, Udhayanidhi also took to his social media handle to thank Kamal Haasan for offering him the 'proud opportunity'.

It is worth a mention here that Udhayanidhi produced Kamal Haasan's 2010-released film, Manmadhan Ambu. They also recently collaborated for Vikram. Red Giant Movies presented the Kamal Haasan-starrer in Tamil Nadu.

Udhayanidhi also has Maamannan with Mari Selvaraj and Kalagathalaivan with Magizh Thirumeni coming up.

Raaj Kamal Films, on the other hand, is also producing a Sivakarthikeyan-Sai Pallavi starrer. Rangoon fame Rajkumar Periasamy is directing the film, which is yet to be titled.
