Tamil trailer of Dulquer Salmaan and Mrunal Thakur's Sita Ramam out 

The Tamil trailer of the upcoming multilingual film Sita Ramam was released by Karthi today. Thetrailer gives an overview of the film’s premise. It traces the journey of an orphan soldier Lieutenant Ram whose life transforms after he gets a letter from a girl named Sita. They meet and fall in love with each other, but Ram returns to his camp in Kashmir. While he sends a letter to Sita which fails to reach her, after 20 years, two people take it up to deliver the letter to Sita. As they try to find them, a hurdle in the form of Brigadier Vishnu Sharma comes their way.

Sita Ramam has actors from various industries, including Dulquer Salmaan, Mrunal Thakur, Rashmika Mandanna, Gautham Menon, Sumanth, Bhumika Chawla, among others. Directed by Hanu Raghavapudi, the film is backed by Aswini Dutt under Swapna Cinema banner and presented by Vyjayanthi Movies.

The film is a period romantic drama set in periods between the 60s and 80s. The technical crew consists of cinematography by PS Vinod and Vishal Chandrashekhar on the music. Kotagiri Venkateswara Rao is the editor.

Sita Ramam made in Telugu will also be released in Tamil and Malayalam. It is slated for release on August 5.
