Actor Hansika Motwani, whose 50th film Maha released on Friday in theatres, penned a note to thank the support she received to achieve this feat.

Hansika, who started her career as a child artist in the Hindi film industry, went on to work predominantly as lead actor in Tamil and Telugu industries. Her latest outing, Maha, released in theatres on Friday.

"When I say family, it's never complete without my dearest fans who have been an immense support from the beginning till now in my career. With lots of happiness, I am expressing my token of gratitude for them on this special day that marks the release of my 50th movie-Maha,” the actor started off her note.

She continued, “Few memories in our lives remain so fresh that we all can cherish them. Maha has endowed me with such a blissful experience, where every single moment and day of the journey has been phenomenal. Cinema means everything to me and it's been and will be an inevitable constituent in my life.”  Saying that completing the 50-film mark is not "easy for an actress", except for people who are "blessed with unconditional love and support" from the fans, the actor thanked her followers who made her push bars and encouraged to try new attempts and experiments.

Hansika said that Maha is special, and a "gift" that happened due to "divine intervention". She wrote, "Today we are placing it before you. The movie is all yours from today, and with the humble gesture, we as a team, place it before you. It has lots of entertainment, emotions, and intense content that will send you from theatres with 100% satisfaction.”

The actor also thanked her “dear friend” and actor Silambarasan who appears in Maha and thanked the film’s team.

Maha is currently running in theatres.  The film is said to revolve around a mother who is willing to take on any challenges to be with her daughter.
