Following the release of Iravin Nizhal, filmmaker R Parthiban met actor Rajinikanth on Thursday to seek his wishes.
Parthiban took to his Instagram handle to share his experience meeting Rajini. In the video, he showed the hand-written letter that Rajinikanth gave him. In the letter, Rajini appreciated Parthiban and extended congratulations to music composer AR Rahman, cinematographer Arthur Wilson and the rest of the cast and crew.
“In Iravin Nizhal, Rajini sir liked the temple shots, the Telugu speaking sequences and the making video. He also said that AR Rahman is an asset for Iravin Nizhal.
Parthiban further noted that Rajini was amused by the efforts taken for Iravin Nizhal and was intrigued to know more about his plans. “When I told him that I wanted to do a comedy film next, He recalled my collaboration with Vadivel and how it worked really well,” Parthiban added.
He also stated that Rajini enquired about his family and his role in the upcoming feature, Ponniyin Selvan. “I took a photo with him and his love is a huge award for me.”
