Trailer of Arun Vijay's Tamil Rockerz out

The trailer of the upcoming web series Tamil Rockerz starring Arun Vijay in the lead role, was released by the makers on social media on Saturday.

The series is set to premiere on SonyLIV on August 19.

Tamil Rockerz revolves around a notorious piracy group, Tamilrockerz, who publicly announce their plan to leak the massively budgeted and highly anticipated film. A a special team headed by Rudra, a cop with a scarred past, must fight against time, unruly fans, and an anonymous network of cyber pirates to secure the movie.

In the two-minute trailer, it shows glimpses of Arun Vijay as Rudra, who “hates” cinema, but on a mission to crackdown the piracy network.

Tamil Rockerz is directed by Arivazhagan, with whom Arun Vijay has previously worked in Kuttram 23 and Borrder (soon-to-be-released). The series marks the debut venture for the actor in series.

The series also stars Vani Bhojan, Iswarya Menon, Azhagam Perumal, Vinodhini Vaidyanathan, and MS Bhaskar, among others. AVM Productions is backing the project as their maiden series production.
