The first look poster of upcoming Tamil film Aazhi, starring Sarath Kumar in the lead role, was released by Vijau Sethupathi on social media, on the occasion of the actor’s birthday, on Thursday.

With the title meaning sea in Tamil, the first look poster features the actor sporting a bearded and intense look on his face, with a backdrop of an ocean. The poster has a line that mentions ‘Say no to drugs’, hinting that the film might deal with drug smuggling and consumption.

The film is directed by Madhav Ramadasan, with 888 Productions and Celluloid Creations backing the film.  Aazhi’s technical crew and rest of the cast members are yet to be announced.

Meanwhile, Sarath Kumar is part of several upcoming projects, including historical drama Ponniyin Selvan (PS-1), with Mani Ratnam. The actor is also part of Vijay’s Varisu, The Smile Man, and second season of web series Parampara, which are in various stages of production.
