Pooja Hegde cast opposite Suriya in Siva's film?

We had earlier reported that actor Suriya, who recently made a stellar cameo appearance in Vikram, will be teaming up with director Siva for a film. However, the recent development is that actor Pooja Hegde will be starring opposite Suriya, according to media reports.

While an official announcement on the same has not been made yet, if the collaboration is to happen, it will be the first time the actors would work together.

The upcoming film, which was to get kickstarted earlier, was delayed due to the pandemic and changes in the cast and crew. It is now reported that the film will be backed by producers of Radhe Shyam and Saaho. Both the films were backed by UV Creations and T-Series. The reports also suggest that Pooja Hegde has been approached by the makers and she has green-lit the project from her side.

Meanwhile, Suriya has Vaadivasal with Vetri Maaran and untitled film with director Bala, which are in production. On the other hand, Pooja Hedge, who was last seen in Beast, has Cirkus,and Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali.
