Pa Ranjith's Natchathiram Nagargiradhu first look out

The film is expected to be Ranjith’s comeback to romance genre after his debut Attakathi

The first look poster of upcoming Tamil film Natchathiram Nagargiradhu, directed by filmmaker Pa Ranjith, was released by the makers on social media on Wednesday.

The film is expected to be Ranjith’s comeback to romance genre after his debut Attakathi (2012). However, the upcoming film is set to deal with different facets of love and LGBTQIA themes that might have political references as well.

Natchathiram Nagargiradhu stars Kalidas Jayaram, Dushara Vijayan, Kalaiarasan, among others. The shooting was wrapped up in December 2021. It also has actors Hari Krishna, Shabeer Kallarakkal, and others as part of the cast. The poster features Dushara in prominence, sporting blue hair, while other cast members are shown smaller in size, within the locks of her hair.

The film will have cinematography by Kishor Kumar and music by Tenma, who both had collaborated in Irandam Ulagaporin Kadaisi Gundu, which was bankrolled by Ranjith. RK Selva has edited the film.

Natchathiram Nagargiradhu is produced by Neelam Productions and Yaazhi Films. the film is expected to be released in theatres soon.
