Sivakarthikeyan pens a note on the occasion of completing a decade in film industry

Actor Sivakarthikeyan has completed 10 years in the Tamil film industry and he penned a thank you note to his fans, producers, directors, and everyone who gave him an opportunity to shape an impressive career. In the letter, he wrote, "Today marks my ten years in Cinema... Started this journey with nothing but Hope. And today the place that you have given for me in your hearts and homes, is an unforeseen truth."

Sivakarthikeyan made his debut with Marina on February 3, 2012. Directed by Pandiraj, the film also stars Oviya as the female lead. 

In his note, Sivakarthikeyan thanked director Pandiraj for giving him his first acting opportunity. He also thanked everyone who has played even a small part in shaping his career and this also included his costars, technicians, distributors, theater owners, and friends.

He then added, "Above all, my heartfelt thanks to my motherly Tamil, my Tamil people for owning me as your son, brother, friend, family and to my brothers and sisters out there as my fans who are always with me from the beginning, standing by me, celebrating me on this journey of successes, failures, and learnings."

He concluded the note by saying, "Always, all that I want to do is work harder to make you all happy and to be useful to others with this life that you all have blessed me with. Love and gratitude from the bottom of my heart."
