Gautham Menon confirms being part of Thalapathy 67

Filmmaker-actor Gautham Vasudev Menon has confirmed that he is indeed part of Thalapathy 67, the upcoming film directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj featuring actor Vijay in the lead role.

The confirmation was made recently in a roundtable conversation organised by a media channel. Both Lokesh and Gautham were part of the roundtable. While speaking about the directors' films that he is part of, he pointed at Lokesh and after the latter nodded, Gautham said, "I'm in his film. I just saw him and after he gave his nod to reveal this, I'm confirming it here now."

With this, it is clear that Gautham is set to collaborate with Vijay for the first time. While Gautham’s role is kept under wraps, the official announcement of Thalapathy 67 will take place after the release of Varisu. This will be Lokesh’s second film with Vijay after Master. There are also speculations that Trisha will also be part of Thalapathy 67.

Meanwhile, Vijay is gearing up for the release of Varisu, which is scheduled to hit the theatres for Pongal 2023. The film is directed by Vamshi Paidipally and has Rashmika Mandanna as the female lead.
