Mansoor Ali Khan to play antagonist in Thalapathy 67?

With just little over than two weeks for release of Vijay's Varisu, the speculations regarding his next film are already doing rounds. After Varisu, Vijay is expected to once again collaborate with Lokesh Kanagaraj with whom he worked in Master. While an official announcement is awaited and expected to be made after Varisu release, reports suggest that veteran actor Mansoor Ali Khan will also be part of the film.

Tentatively titled Thalapathy 67, reports suggest that a promotional video has already been shot. Mansoor Ali Khan, who attended an event recently, also confirmed that he will very much be part of the film and is expected to play the antagonist. It is to be noted that Mansoor Ali Khan has worked with Vijay in various films, notably in Naalaiya Theerpu (1992), which marked Vijay acting debut. Lokesh Kanagaraj has also expressed his admiration for Mansoor Ali Khan and had written Kaithi keeping the actor in mind.

Thalapathy 67 is also said to feature Trisha, who will once again share screen space with Vijay after doing films like Ghilli, Pokkiri, to name a few. Names like Arjun Sarja, Priya Anand, and others are also speculated to be part of the cast.
