The big Thunivu update is out now. The first single from the H Vinoth directorial, starring Ajith Kumar and Manju Warrier, will be uploaded on December 9.

He wrote, "The Wait is over! Chilla Chilla is coming to rule your Playlist from December 9."
Composed by Ghibran, the lyrics are reportedly by Vaisagh, and the fun number is sung by composer Anirudh Ravichander.

Thunivu marks the third collaboration between Vinoth, Ajith Kumar and Boney Kapoor. Udhayanidhi Stalin's Red Giant Movies will be distributing the film, which also stars Samuthirakani, John Kokken and Veera in supporting roles.
Billed as a multi-genre film, Thunivu will release for Pongal 2023, thus clashing with Vijay's Varisu. This will mark the first clash between Ajith and Vijay since 2014 when Veeram and Jilla had released on the same Pongal day.
