Teaser of Samantha's Yashoda to drop on this date 

Yashoda also features Unni Mukundan and Varalaxmi Sarathkumar

The teaser of the upcoming multilingual film Yashoda, starring actor Samantha Ruth Prabhu in the lead role, will be released on September 9, the makers announced on social media on Wednesday.

The makers also released a new poster of the film, which features a bruised Samantha walking amid a crowd comprising of women. Samantha plays the title role.

Yashoda is directed by Hari Shankar-Harish Narayan, and also features Unni Mukundan and Varalaxmi Sarathkumar as other leads. Besides, the film also has Rao Ramesh, Murali Sharma, Sampath Raj, Shatru, Madhurima, Kalpika Ganesh, Divya Sripada and Priyanka Sharma in supporting roles.

The film was initially scheduled for a theatrical release on August 12, but the team has decided to postpone it due to delay in post-production works. However, the new release date is yet to be finalised.

It will release in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, and Hindi. The music for the film is composed by Mani Sharma. Yashoda is backed by Sridevi Movies
