Lens director teams up with Lijomol

The film is titled Kaadhal Enbadhu Podhuudamai

It has been announced that Jayaprakash Radhakrishnan, best-known for directing the 2016 film Lens, will be helming a film titled Kaadhal Enbadhu Podhuudamai. The film will see Jai Bhim-fame Lijomol Jose will be headlining the cast, which features Rohini, Anusha, Deepa, Vineeth and Kalesh in prominent roles.

The film went on floors today, the makers announced with a teaser poster. The film will be produced by Mankind Cinemas and Symmetry Cinemas in association with Nith's Productions. The film is a family drama with coming-of-age elements. Further details related to the project, such as the other cast and crew, are currently under wraps. 

Jayaprakash's second film, The Musquito Philosophy, was released through the pay-per-view model last year. Lijomol, meanwhile, was last seen in Halitha Shameem's segment in the Amazon Prime Video anthology, Putham Pudhu Kaalai Vidiyaadhaa. In addition to Kaadhal Enbadhu Podhuudamai, she has the Tamil film, AnnaPoorni and Malayalam films Vishudha MejoPulimada and Her in Malayalam.
