Pa Ranjith's Neelam presents new film based on cricket; Shooting commences

Filmmaker-producer Pa Ranjith is presenting an upcoming untitled film based on cricket in association with Ganesa Moorthy's  Lemon Leaf Creations.

The film features Ashok Selvan, Shanthanu Bhagyaraj, Prithvi Pandiarajan, Keerthi Pandian and Divya Duraisamy, among others.

Jaikumar, a former assistant director to Pa Ranjith, is making his directorial debut with this film. The film's screenplay and dialogues are penned by Tamizh Prabha and Jaikumar.

The film's technical crew includes cinematographer Tamizhalagan, editor Selva RK, production designer Raghu and music composer Govind Vasantha. The shooting for the film is planned in and around Arakkonam.

According to the makers, billed as an entertainer, the film revolves around the emotional bonding with cricket shared by people across cities and towns of Tamil Nadu and also celebrates the essence of friendship.
